Technical administration of our new Intranet build on Share Point 200105–201109 Swedish Government Stockholm DBA and System engineer § Helped plan and migrate our distributed Oracle 9i platform to a centralized 11g platform during spring 2011. § Planned and upgraded from ESX 3.5 to vSphere 4 during 2010, increasing the number of cluster nodes from 4 to 8, § Helped migrate from in house backup to co-location backup of our whole server environment during 2010. § Suggested software and hardware to virtualize most of our servers during 2008 so we are now running a VMware 3 cluster with 4 server nodes and I'm responsible and administering the platform. § Technical administration of our new Intranet build on Share Point Portal 2003 server. The project was finished Q1 2009. § Made an Intranet happen and helped build it. It’s built on IIS 6 using asp, php and perl. § Helped in planning and upgrading 50 Oracle databases from 8.0.x to 9i. 49 of them is replicating to 1 central database. I also monitored and fixed replication errors. § Developed the requirement specs for the Sun server that my manager needed to purchase for our new salary system. I'm also administer it. § Administering Citrix, Terminal Server, AD. § Done coding in php, asp, cgi coding for Intranet application. Perl for administrative tasks both in Windows and UNIX. § Introduced an online conference room booking system. § I’m also DBA for all our databases 5 MS SQL, one MySQL and about 50 Oracle. § I monitored but was not DBA for a Mimer SQL and Informix. § Has application responsibility for Agresso, Palasso, Intranet, DB backup and an Oracle Forms application developed to suit our requirements? § I recommended to the manager to buy and implement Vmware ESX Server 2.0 for testing of our developed applications and he did which saved the government about €200k or 1-3 year delay, otherwise we would have needed 14 physical servers.
